Beautiful antique art medal designed by famous Belgian sculptor Paul Maurice Dubois (1859-1938). He was not only a sculptor and a medal engraver. Dubois also designed jewels and produced monuments, statues, low-reliefs, portraits, and allegoric figurine. This medal shows the gracious winged victory lady standing on the globe. Holding a sword and a crown of laurel. It was produced in 1919 and given to the Belgian fighters of world war I.
