Beautiful antique art medal designed by French artist Paul Bargas. Unusual in shape, it represents an ancient steam locomotive. Decors of men shaking hands is an allegory to the 1917 fusion of all French railway workers into one general union. It was edited in 1918 and sold in favor of the charity for orphans of railway workers. Beautiful collectible of railways.

The pendant is shaped like an ancient train locomotive

at reverse side: a representation of the train workers

in French: ” NATIONAL FEDERATION OF THE TRAIN WORKERS ”

                  ” FUSION OF THE 23rd JANUARY 1917 ”
