Beautiful 19th-century antique medal pendant

 

Holy Virgin Mary throning in de midst of the Apostles

below in Latin: ” S. Maria Regina Apostolorum succure paganis ”

meaning: ” Holy Mary, Queen of the Apostles, help the pagans ” 

 

at the reverse side is Our Lord Jesus Christ in Glory sending out missionaries

in Latin: ” rogate dominum messis ut mittat operarios in vineam suam ”

meaning: ” Ask the Lord of the harvest to send workers into his vineyard “
