Saint Catherine Labouré (1806-1876) was a member of the Daughters of Charity of Paris (France). It is after her Marian Apparitions in 1830 that the Miraculous Medal was minted. Remark on the medal that Saint Catherine Labouré is wearing the typical cornette hat. Beautiful vintage silver medal of devotion.
